CRI Middleware at TGS 2023!
This year again, we will be present at the Tokyo Game Show (TGS 2023), Japan’s largest computer entertainment exhibition, which is already in its 33rd edition!
We will be exhibiting during the business days (September 21st and 22th) – which are reserved to those involved in the game industry -, and we are looking forward to meeting you in the Business Solutions corner, booth #04-N65.
We will be showcasing the following technologies:
Our upcoming multi-platform middleware for online video playback, which reduces in-app storage requirements, and makes it possible to replace videos dynamically, without the need for updates. At TGS, we will demonstrate the simultaneous streaming playback of multiple full HD videos. (* CRI-VOD is a tentative name and may change)
Experience the new virtual 3D sound provided by ADX2, which relies on Yamaha Corporation’s Sound xR. Sound xR’s audio processing can simulate sound sources coming from any point around the listener on ordinary earphones or headphones, making it possible to localize audio with high-definition in immersive games and movies, as well as augmented and virtual reality applications.
We will demonstrate the latest version of our communication middleware which supports large-scale, multi-platform, simultaneous voice chat between thousands of users. This new version offers the real-time transcription of conversations, allowing people who have difficulty communicating (e.g., due to hearing impairment) to participate in conversations for a better accessibility in games.
We will introduce ImageStudio’s new “Remastered Super Resolution” that takes graphics created for the previous generations of hardware and turns them into beautiful, high-resolution pictures usable on the latest game consoles and smartphones. We will also showcase the latest version of OPTPiX SpriteStudio, our 2D animation creation tool.
